Will a nose piercing affect my singing voice?

I'm turning sixteen in two days and my mom said I could get my nose pierced. However, I am a singer and am worried that the stud/ring or the hole in my left nostril will negatively affect my singing voice. Will the piercing or jewelry affect airflow by altering my nasal passageway or something? Please help. I really want it, but not if it's going to hurt my voice.
