Can you recommend an East Coast Beach vacation destination & hotel with an Ocean view?

Ocean City Maryland is awesome the beach is super clean there is a great boardwalk and a carnival/small amusement park, all of the hotel are on the beach(just walk across the boardwalk) it is basically an island and I'm guessing most of the hotels are about the same you should call the and ask for a room with an ocean view make sure the hotels address is on boardwalk those are the ones on the beach also check out Assateague island it a very short drive and very cool there is a more "rustic beach" and wild ponies and it just a beautiful place to visit and a day pass is not that expensive
